IbManager Partner Terminal
IbManager is a software suit for FxCompany partners (IB-brokers and RRs). Using IbManager you can:
- Receive information about registered clients;
- Track trading activity of your attracted clients;
- Calculate agent's renumeratio;
- Form reports on clients' deals and agent's renumeratio.
IbManager Installation
1. Download the IbManager installation file.
2. In the drop-down menu choose the language of the interface program.
3. Read the Agents Agreement and tick the corresponding field, than click "Next".
4.At the next step server connection is set up. Don't change the default settings, just click "Next".
5. After pressing the "Next" button, the server connection is checked. If the test was unsuccessful, please go through the following steps:
a. Check your Internet connection.
b. Check you virus protection settings or Firewall, probably they are blocking the program's access to the Internet. If you do not know which settings you should choose, turn off your virus protection program or Firewall for a while, before the set up is done.
c. If this does not help, contact our client support.
6. If the server connection test was successful, on the next step you will have to put in your login and password, which you have got an the moment of agent's account registration. After you put in your registration data, click "Next".
7. At the next stage choose the location to install ibManager on your computer (e.g.: С:\Program Files\ibManager).
8. Choose the program shortcuts location.
9. After the completion of the installation process, tick the field «Start ibManager» and after this click "Finish", the terminal will start automatically.
The basic functions of IbManager terminal
1. After the start of the terminal, the program checks updates. If updates were found and the program suggested installing them, do it straight away, do not put off this process. To confirm the installation click "Update".
To complete the process follow the instructions.
2. Put in your login and password, which you received by agent's account registration. If you do not want to put in your login and password every time the program starts, simply tick the "Save personal information" field.
3. If your agent's account is not yet activated, you will see a message, suggesting that you should contact a partner relationship manager.
4. In case your agent's account is activated, you will have access to the following tabs on the main terminal bar:
a. Online - accounts view of the clients currently online.
b. Accounts - view of all clients' accounts.
c. Orders - open and delayed orders on clients' accounts.
d. Own agent's account - view the transactions history of the account.
e. Conditions of agent's renumeration - compensation for every trading instrument.
f. Calculation of agent's renumeration - create a renumeration table arranged according to each client's deal.
Apart from this you can use the quotes panel and the auxiliary panel.
5. Common mistakes and system alerts:
a. Error Con00146 – no Internet connection. Check you connection settings or virus protection and Firewall settings.
b. If you are working in a Windows 7 system, you should start the program in the compatibility mode with Windows XP. To do this, create a program shortcut on your desktop and in the shortcut tab "Compatibility" set the start with Administrator rights.
c. At program start FTP line is flashing by setting server connection - start the program with Administrator rights, check network connection and virus protection settings.
